The first two I polished up a bit. The third is just to point out the difference with what you get right out of the camera. Snow pics are especially tricky. If you don't do anything, either the snow is over-exposed when the person and trees look right, or if the snow is right, everything else is dark. So you have to work on separate layers in photoshop and combine them. I don't know how they did it in the old days.
